I’m excited to announce that The Antique Store Detective and the Deadly Inheritance (Bella Winter 3) is available now and that book four is up for pre-order!
The series is set in the hilly Shropshire countryside in a town full of traditions with characters I hope you’ll get to know and love, from the busybody pub landlady who clucks over her clientele, to Bella’s attractive but infuriating next-door neighbour.
In Bella’s first case, an eccentric professor is killed in the dead of night whilst hunting for buried treasure. If you like puzzling over motives and sorting clues from red herrings, this series is for you! I do hope you enjoy it.

A flavour of the series…
The heroine…
Bella is the owner of Vintage Winter – a treasure trove of curiosities and antiques. She loves classy vintage clothes, sizing up dealers and customers and whipping everyone into shape. She’s recently moved to the town of Hope Eaton, nestled in the Shropshire Hills, where her late father once worked as the police sergeant. But times have changed and these days, if a crime’s committed, officers come in from outside. They don’t know the townsfolk, so what’s a woman to do when trouble strikes? It’s not long before Bella finds herself stepping into her dad’s shoes….
Settings…
I’ve created the fictional town of Hope Eaton for the series, and invented its location in the Kite Valley, but I was inspired by beautiful Bridgnorth in Shropshire. Most of the photographs above were taken there.
