Bella is the owner of Vintage Winter – a treasure trove of curiosities and antiques. She loves classy vintage clothes, sizing up dealers and customers and whipping everyone into shape. After her parents’ divorce, she spent her formative years in London with her chaotic mother and younger half-siblings. Having taken on much of the childcare, she can spot a tall story at a hundred paces. She’s recently moved to the town of Hope Eaton, nestled in the Shropshire Hills, where her late father once worked as the police sergeant. But times have changed and these days, if a crime’s committed, officers come in from outside. They don’t know the townsfolk, so what’s a woman to do when trouble strikes? It’s not long before Bella finds herself stepping into her dad’s shoes….
Settings…
I’ve created the fictional town of Hope Eaton for the series, and invented its location in the Kite Valley, but I was inspired by beautiful Bridgnorth in Shropshire. Most of the photographs above were taken there.
