My newsletter mailing list is hosted by Mailchimp. Again, I can view details of those who sign up, but I do not transfer those details off the Mailchimp site, except where I am unable to fulfill my promise to subscribers by not doing so – for instance to contact a prize winning subscriber and request details of where their prize should be sent. Newsletter subscribers can opt out of receiving updates at any time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ button in any email.
Subscribers to blog posts or my newsletter can also unsubscribe by emailing a request to clare@clarechase.com.
