This is probably the most impressive example of stealth crocheting I have seen in Cambridge so far. I assume it must have been some time in the planning; the challenge of coating each and every lamppost along the avenue of London plane trees on Jesus Green must have been almost as great as the crocheting. 
As for Jesus Green itself, it’s gradually drying out, but it’s not quite there yet…
